Béis Bowl: Puka Nacua & Shay Mitchell Take Over San Francisco Ahead of Super Bowl LX

SAN FRANCISCO — While the confetti is still being swept up from the Seattle Seahawks’ dominant 29-13 victory in Super Bowl LX, the real party started 24 hours before kickoff. Rams All-Pro Puka Nacua and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell turned Ghirardelli Square into the weekend’s hottest ticket, hosting the exclusive “Béis Bowl” activation at the San Francisco Brewing Co.

Hundreds of fans flooded 3150 Polk Street on Saturday, desperate for a glimpse of the NFL’s leading receiver and the Pretty Little Liars alum. The pop-up didn’t just ride the Super Bowl wave; it crashed it. Mitchell, donning a brown leather jacket and plaid skirt, stood alongside Nacua—sharp in a blazer and jeans—as a massive digital timer hit 00:00:00, signaling the brand’s takeover of the Bay.

    The “Béis Bowl” Blueprint

Shay Mitchell didn’t mince words about the hierarchy of the weekend. “Bad Bunny did the halftime. Béis did the weekend,” she captioned a viral snap of the duo flanking white Béis-branded traffic cones.

Inside, the atmosphere was electric. The “Gameplan” itinerary threw guests into football-themed gauntlets where they went head-to-head with Nacua himself. For Nacua, fresh off a crushing NFC Championship exit, the event was a chance to pivot from heartbreak to community connection. He spent hours mingling with locals, just days after representing the NFC at the Pro Bowl Games at the Moscone Center.

    A Season for the Books

Nacua’s presence at a lifestyle event of this magnitude signals his arrival as a true crossover star. The 2025 campaign was nothing short of historic. The former BYU standout torched defenses for a league-leading 129 receptions and 1,715 yards, cementing his status as a First-team All-Pro.

Even in defeat, he was unstoppable. In the Rams’ 2026 NFC Championship loss to the eventual champion Seahawks, Nacua hauled in nine catches for 165 yards and a touchdown, proving he’s the engine of Sean McVay’s offense.

“I’m really happy for those guys; I think there were a lot of guys that were also recognized as alternates. You see the work Puka puts in every single day… he doesn’t just play the position, he attacks it.” — Sean McVay, Rams Head Coach (on Pro Bowl honors)

    Viral Spirals & “Full Sends”

Nacua’s offseason is already generating as much heat as his route running. On Jan. 31, he set social media ablaze by quoting actress Sydney Sweeney, who told an interviewer she needed a partner to “go skydiving with me.”

“Love skydiving,” Nacua posted. He doubled down during media week, joking, “I have reservations for us on Wednesday, actually.”

The internet ate it up, but the Rams star later came clean to Overtime. The “reservations” were a “full send” joke—he’s actually terrified of heights. “I’ll get a video of it,” he promised NFL Network’s Colleen Wolfe, pointing to the “No Fear” mantra scribbled on his cleats as his only defense.

While Sweeney has been linked to music mogul Scooter Braun in early 2026, Nacua seems to be doing just fine. Paparazzi spotted him dining with influencer Hannah Stocking at Matsuhisa in West Hollywood on Jan. 31, adding fuel to the tabloid fire.

    What’s Next

With the Seahawks sitting on the throne and the 2025-26 season officially wrapped, the pressure shifts back to Los Angeles. Nacua has established himself as a top-3 wideout, but the Rams’ window is tight. Watch for the team to restructure contracts in March to find a defensive complement to their explosive offense. For Nacua, the offseason means brand deals, “No Fear” training, and perhaps finally conquering that fear of heights—on camera.
