NHANFL publishes independent NFL news and analysis. This page explains how we choose stories, how we write them, and what readers can expect.
What we publish
- Confirmed news: trades, signings, injuries, roster cuts, coaching changes
- Reporting on rumors only when we can say what is confirmed and what is not
- Game analysis, film notes, and draft or free-agency explainers
- Opinion and analysis labeled as such
We do not invent quotes. We do not present betting tips as news.
Sourcing
We prefer on-the-record sources. When a source must stay unnamed, we say why and how much we know. One anonymous claim is not enough to treat a rumor as fact.
If a story is based on another outlet’s reporting, we credit that outlet. Primary source URLs can also appear at the bottom of an article.
Headlines and updates
Headlines must match the story. We do not tease a trade that has not happened.
When a developing story changes, we update the article and keep the original publish time. A visible “Updated” date appears when the substance of the piece changes.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected as soon as we confirm them. See our Corrections Policy and Fact-Checking Policy.
Conflicts
Writers must not cover a team or player in which they have a financial interest. Fantasy league talk is analysis, not insider access.

Diversity of coverage
We cover all 32 teams. AFC West proximity does not mean other conferences are ignored. Story choice is driven by news value, not team fandom.
