    Corrections Policy

    At NHANFL.com, our primary goal is to provide accurate and reliable information to the NFL community. However, we acknowledge that in the fast-moving world of sports journalism, errors can occasionally occur.

    We believe that accountability is the cornerstone of trust. When we make a mistake, we are committed to correcting it promptly and transparently. This Corrections Policy outlines our procedures for addressing factual errors in our reporting.

    1. How We Handle Errors

    We distinguish between minor editing changes and significant factual corrections:

    • Minor Edits: For typos, spelling mistakes, or grammatical errors that do not alter the meaning of the content, we may update the article without a formal note.

    • Factual Corrections: If an article contains factually incorrect information (e.g., incorrect player statistics, misstated scores, or wrong names), we will update the body of the text with the correct information. Additionally, we will append a “Correction” note at the bottom of the article.

      • Example: Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Patrick Mahomes was drafted in 2018. He was drafted in 2017.

    2. Retractions

    In rare cases where an article is fundamentally flawed or based on credible information that is later proven to be entirely false, we may issue a Retraction.

    • The original headline will be modified to indicate “RETRACTION.”

    • The article text will be replaced with an editor’s note explaining why the story was retracted and preserving the record of the error for transparency.

    3. Social Media

    If an article containing a significant error was shared on our official social media channels, we will make a reasonable effort to correct the record on those platforms as well, either by deleting the post or replying with the corrected information.

    4. How to Report an Error

    We value the vigilance of our readers. If you believe you have found an error in any of our content, please help us fix it.

    • What to Include:

      • The URL (link) of the article.

      • The specific sentence or fact you believe is incorrect.

      • The correct information and, if possible, a source (link) verifying the correction.

    Our editorial team reviews all correction requests within 24 hours.
