Super Bowl LX: Walker, Henderson Hold Keys as Seahawks, Pats Collide at Levi’s

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The waiting is over. Super Bowl LX has arrived, and the atmosphere at Levi’s Stadium is already electric. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET, and the stakes couldn’t be higher as the Seattle Seahawks (16-3) look to dismantle the New England Patriots (17-3) in a clash of defensive titans.

DraftKings has Seattle pinned as a 4.5-point favorite, with the total sitting at 45.5. But the real story isn’t just the spread—it’s the ground game. With kickoff hours away, smart money is flooding in on specific player props that tell the story of how this game will be won.

    The Walker Workload: Seattle’s Engine

Kenneth Walker III isn’t just a running back today; he is the Seahawks’ lifeline. With Zach Charbonnet sidelined by a torn ACL, the Seattle backfield belongs entirely to Walker. He’s arguably the hottest runner on the planet right now, racking up 426 rushing yards and five touchdowns in his last five games.

The books have set his rushing line at 73.5 yards, but our analytics partners at SportsLine see a massive discrepancy. Their model projects Walker to tear off 87 yards on average. Why? Because Seattle has no choice. To protect their quarterback from Mike Vrabel’s complex blitz packages, they have to run the ball. Walker hitting 80+ rushing yards at +118 isn’t just a bet; it’s a schematic necessity for a Seattle victory.

“We know what’s coming. They want to pound the rock. We want to hit them in the mouth. It’s going to come down to who breaks first in the fourth quarter.” — Mike Vrabel, Patriots Head Coach

    New England’s Rookie Wild Card

On the other sideline, the Patriots’ backfield situation is murkier but ripe with opportunity. Rookie sensation TreVeyon Henderson led the team with 1,132 scrimmage yards this season, yet he’s taken a backseat to the bruising Rhamondre Stevenson during this playoff run. Stevenson has out-touched him nearly 2-to-1 in the postseason.

Don’t be fooled by recent history. Those playoff games were slugfests in freezing temperatures. Today? It’s a clean track in Santa Clara. Henderson’s explosiveness is exactly what offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels needs to stretch the Seahawks’ defense laterally. The prop market has Henderson at 25+ rushing yards (+150). Considering the model projects him for 27 yards and he only needs one or two touches to break a long one, this is the value play of the day.

    The Forgotten Man: Demario Douglas

While the world watches the running backs, keep an eye on Patriots receiver Demario Douglas. He’s been quiet in the playoffs (just three catches), but context matters. New England has been playing “bully ball” in bad weather. Against a Seahawks secondary that ranks 10th in the league, the Patriots will eventually have to air it out.

Douglas only needs 15+ receiving yards (+132) to cash this ticket. He had 31 catches in the regular season and remains a favorite target on third downs. One screen pass or a quick slant could clear this number in the first quarter.

    Super Bowl LX Verdict

The model entering today is on a scorching 53-37 run. It likes the value on the Patriots’ role players, but the strongest signal points to Kenneth Walker III dominating the touches. Expect Seattle to ride their star back early and often.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 24, Patriots 20.
