Buffalo Bills’ O’Cyrus Torrence Hits $1.09M Payday in NFL Performance Bonus Reveal

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — O’Cyrus Torrence just proved that showing up every single day pays off—literally. The NFL announced Monday that the Buffalo Bills’ ironman guard earned an additional $1,091,163 through the league’s performance-based pay program for the 2025 season. Torrence’s seven-figure windfall ranks as the 17th-highest total in the league, a massive return for a player still outperforming his rookie contract.

    The Ironman of the Interior

Torrence didn’t just play in 2025; he lived on the field. The right guard logged 1,129 offensive snaps, accounting for 100% of Buffalo’s offensive plays. It marks the second time in his three-year career that he has played every single meaningful snap for the Bills. Since the Bills grabbed him in the second round of the 2023 draft, Torrence has been the definition of reliability, appearing in all 51 career games and starting 50 of them.

While stars like Josh Allen grab the headlines, Torrence has been the engine room. He led the Bills in total snaps for the third consecutive year while playing on a four-year rookie deal worth $6.22 million. In a league where “availability is the best ability,” Torrence is currently the gold standard. His presence helped stabilize a line that saw Buffalo’s rushing attack climb into the league’s elite tier this past season.

“I don’t look at the snap counts during the game; I just look at the man across from me. When the league calls and says you earned a bit extra for just doing your job, it’s a blessing, but the goal is still that ring.”

    Contract Clock and What’s Next

This bonus isn’t just “extra” money; it’s a signal to the front office. Torrence is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2026. While the performance-based pay doesn’t count against the salary cap, it highlights the massive gap between his production and his current cap hit. General Manager Brandon Beane has a looming decision on his hands. With Torrence established as one of the most durable interior blockers in the AFC, his camp will likely look for a top-of-market extension before he hits free agency in 2027.

Expect the Bills to prioritize a long-term deal this offseason. Losing a 26-year-old who hasn’t missed a start in two years isn’t an option for a team firmly in its championship window. For now, Torrence can enjoy the $1.09 million reward for a year spent in the trenches.
